1. What rules dictate the behavior of men and women in relationships today?

   I believe that it's the rules of respect because a relationship without respect always tends to fail, in a relationship there should be respect for eachother and themselves. If a man disrespects his wife/girlfriend by verbally attacking her, she will most likely disapprove him as her husband/boyfriend. If a woman disrespects herself and her husband/boyfriend by sleeping with other men, her husband/boyfriend will most likely disapprove her as well.


2. Name a situation in which the rules have been clearly violated. That is, what are things "nice girls" or "nice boys" just dont do.

   A good example of which a "nice boy" just doesnt do to violate the rules is disrespect their relationship partner by cursing at them infront of his friends.
   An example of which a "nice girl" just doesnt do to violate the rules is disrespect their relationship partner by cheating on them.


3. Why do these rules exist? Do you think they apply locally or even just at your school? What are the possible consequences of breaking these rules?

   These rules exist because in our society it is not right to disrespect the person youre in a relationship with, you shouldnt disrespect anyone in todays society. These rules apply locally and even in school, this especially applys to the young kids in todays society because some of them lack respect. The consequences of breaking these rules is an end to the relationship.


4. Do you know if these rules are applicable to other cultures or are they totally different?

   These rules also apply to other cultures and in other cultures, these rules are taken more seriously. In India, a woman fleed from her abusive husband and the consequence of that was her nose being cut off.


5. Think of scenes from ANY show/movie that adheres to these rules as well as shows/movies that violates these rules.

   A good movie that shows many situations of violation of these rules is the movie "KIDS".
